The HR Specialist is a structural thinker with expertise in social legislation, HR policy, and process optimisation. As our HR Specialist, you will help lay the foundation and further develop our international organisation. You are the architect of our HR workflows and will translate complex legislation into workable policies and ensure that our administrative processes will continously grow.

As our HR Specialist, you will help lay the foundation and further develop our international organisation. You will be the architect of our HR workflows who translates complex legislation intoworkable policies and ensures that our administrative processes grow alongside the daily reality of our international operations.

YOUR TASKS

  • Policy & Compliance: You draft employment regulations, policies, and contracts, keeping them up-to-date in accordance with the applicable social legislation in the relevant European countries.
  • Workflow Design: You establish efficient HR workflows and optimise existing processes (e.g. leave, sickness absence, or salary consultations).
  • Implementation & Communication: You don’t just implement changes in documentation; you ensure a clear rollout to employees. You translate complex rules simple, understandable language.
  • Operational Support: You identify changes in daily operations and immediately translate these into updates for our HR documents and procedures.
  • Recruitment: You support the recruitment process by drafting job profiles and contracts, and by preparing the administrative onboarding for new talent.

YOUR PROFILE

Professional Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Experience in an international environment is a significant plus.

Knowledge

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or possess equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll and social legislation.
  • Legal Expertise: You are cery knowledgable about Belgian social legislation. Interest in international (German, British, etc.) legislation is a major plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. German language skills are a plus.
