Your Role

As a Tournament Expert, you will be the mastermind behind our event structures and the captain navigating them to success. You’ll use your deep knowledge of TCG dynamics to design engaging event schedules, balance prize structures with business logic, and step into the Tournament Organizer (TO) role at live events.

You’ll bridge the gap between player satisfaction and operational excellence, ensuring our events are thrilling for the community, rewarding for our clients, and financially sound.

Your Tasks

‍

Tournament Planning & Architecture 

• Lead event design by creating engaging tournament experiences for attendees, ensuring they align with Fanfi nity’s mission of accessibility and inclusivity. 
• Develop detailed schedules, rules, and structures for each tournament, tailored to various gaming genres and platforms. 
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams (Community, Marketing, Operations) to deliver seamless tournament experiences, both online and in-person. 
• Ensure that all tournaments are executed at the highest quality and professionalism, keeping in mind the needs of diverse player bases. 
• Create prize structures that balance value with business constraints.

On-Site Leadership (TO) 

• Serve as the primary Tournament Organizer (TO) at events to ensure overall operational success. 
• Manage on-site logistics and coordinate floor coverage. 
• Coordinate with production and the staff team, serving as the point of contact for escalations.
• Act as the first point of contact for the publisher for tournament-related issues. 
• Provide full event reporting.

Staff Support 

• Define staff requirements for proper floor coverage and direct floor teams for seamless execution.
