From Utrecht and Liverpool to Lyon: The Magic Spotlight Series Europe.
The Magic Spotlight Series is a collection of open tournaments that lets any Magic: The Gathering player compete at high-level Magic, including the $50,000 main event, and gather to see who has the skill to claim the Magic: The Gathering Spotlight Series champion title. The European Magic Spotlight Series is fully organised and run by us, the North American counterpart is organised by Star City Games. We held the first EU Spotlight Series in March 2025 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, with well over 2000 players, with more scheduled as of August 2025: the second edition will be held in October 2025 in Liverpool, England, the first Spotlight Series of 2026 in Lyon, France!
From booking an appropriate venue, to creating the scheduling of the entire event, we organise the entirety of the Spotlight Series from start to finish, including the main event and a variety of side events that players can enter to win more prizes.
We organise all support staff, including referees and tournament administration staff, and are on the ground running all tournaments ensuring the correct and timely execution.
Besides the main event and side events, we invite popular Magic: The Gathering card artists and content creators for meet and greets - and even card altering lessons - as well as multiple vendors offering their merchandise.
We cover the Spotlight Series with a weekend long broadcast of the main event, including on-screen talent who provide commentary and post-match player interviews, on Twitch and YouTube. With two designated feature match areas as well as one interview area with multi-camera setups, we create high quality content and an overall well-received two-day broadcast.
