Ultimate Guard (UG) is a premier manufacturer of high-quality storage and protection products for trading card games (TCGs) who have been around since 2011. Their vision, “to advance the culture of gaming and collecting”, sustainably, as well as their deep connection in the TCG space, closely align with Fanfinity’s approach. That’s why our collaboration with Ultimate Guard was set up for success: when two companies with a shared deep passion and values join forces, magic (pun intended) is bound to happen.
Since 2024 our collaboration with UG regularly brings the European Magic: The Gathering circuit to countries across the continent - the Ultimate Guard European Magic Series Regional Championship (UGEMS). The Regional Championships (RC) are a crucial stage in the Magic: The Gathering tabletop Premier Play system. Top players from local qualifiers gather to compete against each other across multiple destinations in Europe for their share of the $130,000 prize pool and even qualifications for the World Championship. As the main sponsor of the event, UG has a strong presence at the Regional Championships that we organise, including broadcast advertising, multiple awesome activations at the venues (have you ever challenged a MTG pro player or seen a laser engrave a deck box?), and, of course, the naming rights of the European Regional Championship series.
We are incredibly proud of our ongoing collaboration with Ultimate Guard, certainly making a mark in the European Magic community, continuously improving events for all attendees as well as fans watching from home.
