As the year is already well into Q4, we have contributed to another award-winning event! We are excited about the Star Wars™: Unlimited Galactic Championship receiving the Event of the Year Award at this year’s TCG Awards. During the Galactic Championship this summer in Las Vegas, we supported the teams of Asmodee and Fantasy Flight Games with the overall tournament administration and operation, managing everything from judge staffing to seamless execution across both Main Event and Side Events. Congratulations to Asmodee, Fantasy Flight Games, and everyone involved for this fantastic achievement - it’s testament to the work that was put in to bring such an event to life.
The Galactic Championship is the highest-level, annual competitive event for the Star Wars™: Unlimited (SWU) trading card game that crowns the global champion of the year. The 3-day international tournament hosts multi-thousand-attendees, including the players who qualified to this prestigious tournament throughout the year at Fanfinity-ran Regional Championships in Europe and Regional Championships hosted by partners around the world.
Congratulations to PPG Events Management for winning the award in the Event of the Year category. Having been part of this award-winning event in the USA marked another milestone we’ve reached ahead of our expansion to North America. Besides our work on the Galactic Championship, we were also a runner up ourselves at the TCG Awards in the Service Provider Category. We would like to thank the TCG Awards for inviting us to this year’s ceremony and an overall great event.
The SWU action does not stop for us as we are on our way to the Netherlands where we are hosting the Star Wars™: Unlimited Regional Championship in Utrecht from 30. October to 1. November. Curious? Follow along on Twitch and YouTube.
