This week, we are heading to Lille for our newest project: we are organising Riot Game’s Riftbound Regional Qualifier! After being in charge of the tournament administration for the first European Riftbound Qualifier in Bologna, we will now organise the next three European Regional Qualifiers in full.
We were beyond excited to organise the Main and Side Events of the first Riftbound Regional Qualifier in Bologna. The event, organised by PGE Esports, was a huge success: the Fanfinity-ran main event sold out after five seconds; we counted over 1600 main event players. Besides the main tournament, there were plenty of things to do and see - including exclusive Riot Games goodies.
After being in charge of the tournament in Bologna, we are now responsible for the entire event planning of the next three official Riftbound Regional Qualifiers in Europe in Lille, Barcelona, and Utrecht.
We are incredibly excited for the opportunity to host these Riftbound events (especially with many League of Legends fans in our ranks), and can’t wait to kick off the Regional Qualifier in Lille this weekend.
Riftbound is a collectable Trading Card Game based in Riot Games's League of Legends universe. The TCG officially launched in Europe in October 2025 and quickly rose to popularity with TCG players and League of Legends fans across the globe. Riftbound is a highly interactive game; it can be played in a classic one-on-one format, but can also be played with 3 or 4 players. Needless to say, we’ve already challenged each other at the office.
